As an essential business, we at The Shipping Post are doing our best to continue to offer essential mailing and shipping services.

Due to the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, please be advised that our plans and hours can change on a moment’s notice.  Please visit this site often as we will attempt to keep these messages current.  

The Shipping Post greatly values the health and safety of our customers and employees and have implemented the following guidelines for helping to prevent the spread of the virus:

  • If you have packages to ship and are unable to come into the store, please contact us and we will do our best to make other arrangements. 
  • Please do not come into the stores if you have any symptoms, feel unwell, or have been exposed to the virus.
  • Please honor the CDC’s guidelines for avoiding close contact by putting distance between yourself and other people when in the stores.

Currently, all the usual services and products are available:

  • US Post Office – shipping, receiving, mailing, drop-offs, stamps
  • FedEx – shipping, receiving and drop-offs
  • UPS – shipping, receiving and drop-offs
  • DHL– shipping, receiving and drop-offs
  • Notary Services (call ahead to check availability)
  • Greeting Cards and Gifts
  • Faxing, Emailing, Scanning, Copying, Laminating

To our valued mailbox holders:

  • If you are unable to pick up your mail, please contact us and we will make other arrangements. 
  • Please provide us with either an email or a cell phone number (preferably both) so that we can add you to our Smart Alert Notification service.  
  • We will be offering this service for free during the duration of the pandemic and ask that everyone sign on as it gives us a quick, effective and easy means to keep each of you informed.
  • We ask, for the time being, not to call and ask us to check your mailbox. Staffing is in short supply.  Please get signed up for Smart Alert and we’ll let you know every time you receive mail or packages (junk mail and magazines are excluded from notification).

Do you accept Amaxon return packages for free packing and shipping?

I am trying to find out about having a 35” x 24” x 10” suitcase approximately 35 lbs in weight shipped. We need to find out how it can be shipped as close as possible to us we are in Ontario Canada, and cross at the Lewiston bridge, although we are restricted from border crossing at this time. The suitcase will be shipped from Punta Gorda sometime in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Can you help with information so we can decide just what we can do. What would the cost be approximately the less expensive the better, there is no hurry to receive the items.
