This year, the staff at The Shipping Post is teaming up with The ARCHway Instute in their annual drive to collect new underwear for adults going through drug and mental health rehab. And to help create more awareness of the “underlying” needs of those going through rehab, the staff at The Shipping Post will be wearing boxers on the outside of their clothing on selected days throughout the month.
As an additional incentive to get people to donate a new pair of men’s or women’s underwear during the month of February, The Shipping Post is offering to take $5.00 off the price of any package that their customers ship through UPS, FedEx or DHL when they do donate a new pair of men’s or women’s underwear.
Dan Stuckey, Chairman of ARCHway Institute shared that “ARCHway is an organization dedicated to be advocates for families and individuals and provide FREE support in helping them find the resources and information to find professional help and start that journey of recovery from a drug and/or alcohol addiction disease. Sometimes the resources needed are as simple as a pair of underwear. However, it takes an entire community to help break down those many barriers that people face in getting started on this journey. We are amazed and thankful for all the passion and visible support we are getting from businesses and organizations like the Shipping Post. This underwear drive will make a difference for many.”
